Fly Shoot

Fly Shoot is a precision long-range rifle discipline focused on extreme accuracy. Competitors fire at paper targets featuring a fly image, usually at distances of 500 yards or metres, with the goal of hitting as close to the centre of the fly as possible. Scores are calculated based on group size and placement, rewarding both precision and consistency. Fly Shoot challenges even the most experienced marksmen, as it requires not only marksmanship but also an understanding of ballistics, wind conditions, and rifle tuning. It’s a highly technical and rewarding discipline popular with shooters who enjoy fine-tuning their gear and testing their long-range capabilities.
